Corrections and suggestions are welcome.
This is a static site with no contact form and no back end, so there is nothing here that collects your details. Replace this section with your preferred contact address before publishing.
Useful things to include
- Wrong result: the tool, the exact inputs, what you got and what you expected.
- Missing city: the city, country and its IANA time zone if you know it.
- Holiday correction: the country, year, date and an official source.
- Translation fix: the language, the page and the wording you would use instead.
Before reporting a time that looks wrong
Two causes account for most reports. The first is the device clock: every tool here reads the time from your own computer or phone, so if that is wrong, everything derived from it is wrong too. The clock check tool compares your device against a network time reference and will tell you within a second or so.
The second is out-of-date time zone data. Governments change daylight saving rules — sometimes weeks before they take effect — and your browser only learns about the change when it is updated. If a country has recently changed its rules and your browser is old, it may still be applying the previous ones. Updating the browser resolves it.
What cannot be fixed here
Holiday lists are a planning convenience rather than a legal record, and regional or industry-specific days are out of scope. Historical dates before the Gregorian reform of 1582 are calculated by projecting modern rules backwards, which is deliberate and will not be changed to match Julian records.
Security
If you find a security problem, please report it privately and give a reasonable window for a fix before disclosing it publicly.
Response times
This is a small project rather than a company. Corrections that come with enough detail to reproduce the problem are dealt with fastest, which is why the list above asks for exact inputs rather than a description.
What is most useful to report
A wrong calculation with the exact inputs is the single most valuable report, because it can be turned into a test. A missing city, a mistranslated phrase or an out-of-date holiday date are all straightforward to fix. Suggestions for entirely new tools are welcome, though they compete with a long list.
What this page is not
There is no support contract behind this site and no guaranteed response. If you are relying on these tools for something with a real deadline, treat them as a convenience and verify anything critical against an authoritative source.
Reporting a wrong time zone result
These are the reports worth prioritising, and they are also the ones most often explained by something outside the site. Before writing, check the clock check tool: a device clock that has drifted makes every derived figure wrong in the same direction. Then check whether your browser is current, because a government rule change only reaches you when the browser updates its time zone data.
If both are fine, include the exact inputs — the two zones, the date and the time — along with what you got and what you expected. That is enough to reproduce the case and turn it into a test.
Requesting a city
Give the city, the country and the IANA identifier if you know it. Cities are added by population and by how often they are searched for, so a large city missing from the list is more likely to be added quickly than a small one.
Translations
Only English is currently published. The other languages exist in the catalogue but are held back until they are properly translated, because a page that renders mostly English text under a non-English URL is worse than no page at all. Offers to review a language are genuinely useful.
Suggesting a new tool
The most useful suggestions describe the problem rather than the interface — what you were trying to work out, what you tried instead, and why it did not answer the question. Several tools here started as someone explaining a calculation they kept doing by hand.
Commercial enquiries
The clock widget is free to embed commercially with no attribution required, so there is usually nothing to arrange. For anything else, the same address applies.
Reporting an accessibility problem
These are treated as bugs rather than enhancements. If a control cannot be reached by keyboard, a contrast ratio is too low to read, or a screen reader announces something misleadingly, say which page and which control and it will be fixed. The site is built to work without a mouse throughout, so a place where that fails is a defect.
Security reports
Please report privately first and allow a reasonable window before disclosing publicly. The site is static with no back end, so the realistic surface is small — but the offer stands and reports are welcome.
